What is Salt Lake City like?

It's pretty cool. Downtown SLC there is Gateway mall and a bunch of restaurants and theaters where you can see movies, plays, and concerts. There are some cool bars too. Parking blows downtown though. (BTW SLC is small compared to other majors cities)

On the West side of Northern UT there is Jordan Landing and The District. (Movies, food, shopping)

If you have motorcycles and ATVs you can go to the dunes and go riding, it is not that far from SLC.

You can take trips to Southern Utah to the other dunes(Coral pink), and go to Moab, etc.

In the winter there is Snowboarding and Sundance :)

If you are into camping and hiking there are tons of places to go.

The mormans are cool, well most are, but there are a lot of us who aren't Morman here.

The suburbs are a lot better than downtown. For being a big city there isn't much to do downtown as far as entertainment and shopping. Some of the suburbs are quite nice and have good restaurants and shopping. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous.

It is crazy. And horrible drivers. But there is a lot to do.
