I want to change careers...what should i choose?

I'm a primary trained teacher and hating it. I really enjoy working as a tutor after school helping kids with English and Maths, but the pay isn't enough to make a career out of it. I want to stay within the education field and keep working with children.

I have worked in retail in the past and also as a nanny (which I quite enjoyed, but there's little demand for it in Australia)

What should I choose?

    Retail won't pay enough, I bet. Being a teacher has better retirement, and other benefits. Retail is long, odd hours. It's very rare that you will be able to take a holiday when you want, or if at all. You may want to look into special education. Like a tutor school, where hard to teach children actually pay private money to attend. It pays quite well, and the class sizes are smaller. Good Luck...
