Does anybody still store away that emergency ten or a fiver inside their wallet?

You know when the chips are down and when you are yet to see that pay cheque clear inside your bank account, these little reddies of either a fiver or a tenner can go along way and bring sheer glee. Does anybody out there store away somewhere deep inside their wallet that emergency five or a tenner??

Cheers

Numark :-)

I normally have 5 pounds in my motorcycle jacket in case i hit my reserve tank out in the middle of nowhere without my wallet.

Yes, always. I keep a few small bills in my desk drawer here at home (usually about $10) and about $20 in a hidden place in my car. That way, I always have a few extra dollars in cash in an emergency situation. My husband does the same thing.

I have a change jar full of coins if the chips are down but then that's what mum and dad are for!

I tucked a ten shilling note down my Y fronts in 1968, and as far as I know, it's still there.
