What are some low cost SUV's?

My husband and I are looking to re-finance my Honda Civic for an SUV, however; we don't want to have to spend too much money. We're definitely open to purchasing a used vehicle. What are some SUV's that are already on the lower cost end that we could look into?

    honda cr-v, toyota rav4, saturn vue are economical SUV's that should have low maintenance/repair costs. if you need more room, then there's the pilot and 4runner that are also good choices although fuel economy won't be as good.
