What's a good uplifting or inspirational text to wake up to?

My best friend's uncle just passed away and hes really down about it. And when he's down, he likes to just be alone and not talk (even though he knows Im always here for him)... anyways I just want to text him something that lets him know that Im praying for him and everythings going to be ok.

I'm sorry to hear about your best friend's uncle & pleased to hear that you are always there for him. I think you should tell him exactly what you've told us..that you're praying for him & everything is going to be okay. Tell him that his uncle is in heaven now, a better place, & that his uncle wouldn't want him to be sad. He should be happy that his uncle lived a good life & he should celebrate his uncle's life, not frown upon his death. Something like that. Hope it helps!!!

I tried many sites, and finally settled with this site, hope this will help you to help your friend to come out of his depression.

A little bit of silence is ok. If you are sincere to your friend, then he will surely know that you are there and you will be there for him.

    Good luck & God bless

We're afraid of losing what we have,

whether it's our life or our possessions and property.

But this fear evaporates when we understand

that our life stories and the history of the world

were written by the same hand.

Everything in this world has a hidden meaning...

People, animals, trees, stars are all hieroglyphics...

We think they are really only people, animals, trees, stars.

It is only years later... that some of us understand.

You could try suggesting he reads Desiderata. (you could also google it and read it yourself to see if it is appropriate for him).

A friend like you we all need. e.
