Mora or Rolen to play 3B?

Hello. I'm in a fantasy baseball team and due to some injuries I'm going to have to pick up a new 3B. I've been going over the numbers for the available third basemen and I've got it down to two: Scott Rolen (Toronto) or Melvin Mora (Balitmore).

Right now, Rolen has the better numbers, but Mora has the better 2009 Projections, so I just wanted to throw the question out here to see what kind of a response I might get.

Thank you very much for your help.

If this is just a one or two week fix, I'd say take Rolen. He's pretty hot right now. But I'm not sure who your injured 3B is, and if you need a long term solution, you can't ignore the fact that Rolen spends time on the DL every year. Mora is the better long term solution. Plenty of RBI chances batting 5th behind Roberts, Jones, Markakis and Huff. He's getting older, but look at the monster 2nd half he had last year. If he can do even part of that, you'll be in good shape.

Mora has been on the DL this year so his numbers shouldnt be as good as Rolens thus far; however, his per-game stats are better. Check "G" and "AB" for both players and youll see mora is better this season statistically, per-game. Pick up Mora, in my opinion.

I'd go with Mora, his numbers look bad because he missed 15 games on the dl

Rolen, simply because he's playing on such a hot team. He WILL get hurt, though, so have a backup plan in place...maybe Ian Stewart?
