  • Senior dating a sophomore (college)?

Hello. I'm a senior in college and the other night I met this girl who is a sophomore. We were at an all-night fundraiser together and we were both too busy to really get a chance to sit down and talk but she made sure to say hello to me every time she saw me (like 15 times this happened haha). I'm contemplating whether or not to ask her out to lunch or whatnot. So my question is: do you think it is alright for a college senior to ask out a college sophomore? I know 2-3 years apart isn't a big deal when you're out of college, but when in you're in college I'm not so sure. I'm not fully committed either way and I like to get other people's opinions on this kind of stuff b/c I'm not so great starting relationships =P

Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated. I'm totally opinion to all opinions. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Thanks so much for the help, I really do appreciate it!

  • Ok to ask a girl to lunch over FB?

Ok so there is this girl that lives in my building that I really like. Unfortunately, I run into her MAYBE twice a month (if I'm lucky). When we talk, we get along really well and I want to ask her out to lunch sometime soon (I'll be graduating college in less than two months). I don't have her number yet, but we're friends on facebook. I REALLY hate having to ask her to lunch over Facebook (in a private message), but I'm figuring that would be less awkward and she would be far less pressured than if I just showed up at her door randomly one day and asked. Any thoughts or opinions on this would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks so much! And I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

  • Where to go to ask her out?

Hi everyone. I just had a quick question and was looking for some different opinions if you have the time. I am suppose to hang out with this girl that I like this weekend, but we don't have any plans of where to go yet. I want to ask her out this weekend when I see her, but I don't even know where to go. So I just wanted to throw it out here and see what you guys think: I'm trying to think of somewhere fun to go that wouldn't seem like a date to her, b/c I want to try the date thing the next time I see her lol.

I'm open to any suggestions. I'm generally not very good at thinking of things like this so any opinions would really help. Thank you very much!

  • Splinter Cell Storyline question?

Hello. I recently purchased 3 of the Splinter Cell games (Chaos Theory, Pandora Tomorrow, & Double Agent). I'm new to this series and just had a quick question. I was hoping to jump right to Double Agent, but would I miss anything in the storyline if I did that? In other words, is it necessary to play them in order to understand what is happening?

Thanks for your help. Have a great new year!

  • Movie Maker General Question?

Hello. I'm trying to make a movie in Windows MovieMaker. I have over 600 pictures that I want to I want to be displayed for less than 1 second each to make it look like a movie (I don't know what the technical term for this would be.) However, I cannot find a way to change the length of time for all of the pictures at once and I certainly do not want to have to change all 600+ pictures individually. Is there a way to do this in Windows MovieMaker or is there a better program that I could use?

I hope my question was clear and that you understand what I am trying to achieve. Thank you very much in advance.

  • Asking a girl in college class out?

There's a girl in my college class who I sit next to and really like. We talk a lot during class and I usually walk with her to her car after class. We actually live in the same apartment building too. However, I'm very nervous to ask her out. because it could definitely "rock the boat" and make things awkward between us - especially since we may have classes together in the future and see each around a lot.

I don't really know if she likes me. I'm not so good at stuff like this and I know there are probably lots of people who have been through this. I just wanted to know what you did and how it worked out. Thanks.

  • Safe to wear this necklace?

Hello. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to jewelery had a question about a necklace that someone gave me. The necklace is 4k gold and I was just wondering if it was safe to take it into the water (i.e. the shower) or wear it while I'm at the gym (where I'm usually sweating). I just don't want to wear it if I can risk damaging it either through water or perspiration

Thank you very much for your help.

  • Name for my softball team?

Hello. I'm starting an intramural softball team and I'm trying to come up with a clever/funny name for the team. The one that makes me laugh (and I can use) gets ten points

Please keep the names clean. Thank you.

  • Mora or Rolen to play 3B?

Hello. I'm in a fantasy baseball team and due to some injuries I'm going to have to pick up a new 3B. I've been going over the numbers for the available third basemen and I've got it down to two: Scott Rolen (Toronto) or Melvin Mora (Balitmore).

Right now, Rolen has the better numbers, but Mora has the better 2009 Projections, so I just wanted to throw the question out here to see what kind of a response I might get.

Thank you very much for your help.

  • Yankees sign Pettitte - good move?

The Yankees have just announced that they signed Pettitte to a one year deal.

Do you think this is a good move for the organization or should they have gone with someone else (either from within the organization or on the free market?)

  • Should it have been 61 or 61*?

When Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth's home run record in the summer of 1961, Ford Frick (the commissioner of baseball at the time) added an asterisk (*) to his record. He did this, because he felt that Maris really did not break the record because he did it in 161 games when Ruth did it in 154 games. (In 1961, MLB had just expanded the playing season by 8 games - which gave Maris more time to break the record.)

So the question is: Was Ford Frick right in adding the asterisk or did Roger Maris deserve the record?

Just as a side note, the asterisk was removed MANY years later, but this is just an opinion question - not a factual one.

  • Opinion Question for Red Sox fans?

I was just thinking about this the other day and wanted to throw it out there. How does the Red Sox Nation feel about Manny Ramirez? He is certainly known for his on-field antics - but it appears to me that when he took three straight strikes from Mariano Rivera (after coming up to pinch hit) that it was the final straw for many fans.

But maybe I'm completely wrong. (I'm a Yankees fan so I hate Ramirez by nature.) I just wanted to hear the fans' opinions on him now that he's been away from Boston for some time.

  • When do you come out of the line up?

I was watching Yankees Classics the other days and during the game Torre sent up Charlie Hayes to pinch hit for Paul O'Neill. But they were sending him up in the hopes that the Orioles would opt to remove their pitcher (who was dominant against left-handers hitters but struggled against right-hand) and put in a new pitcher. When the Orioles made the pitching change, Torre removed Hayes and replaced him for Strawberry.

So my question is: does Hayes get scratched from the lineup even if he never stepped into the batter's box or could they use Hayes later on in the game?

(Sorry if it was a little confusing)

  • Question about autographed baseballs?

I was talking to someone else about this the other day and we had a disagreement. Is an autographed baseball worth more if it is inscribed with something meaningful?

For example if I had a ball signed by Bucky Dent, would that be worth more than a ball autographed by Buck Dent with the inscription '78 WS MVP?

    Thanks for the help.

  • Trouble importing mp3s into iTunes?

Ok. I have about a dozen mp3's that I'm trying to import into iTunes. Generally, this has never been a problem but now when I drag and drop the songs into the iTunes browser, the songs don't appear in my library. I've also tried going to File > Add File to Library with no success there either.

I updated to iTunes v8 but I don't think that should have anything to do with it (but maybe I'm wrong there). Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • How should I protect my autographed baseballs?

I've started a collection of autographed baseballs. The collection is small by comparison to many other collectors (11 Yankee single-autographed baseballs) but it's growing - every year I try to add one (or if I'm lucky two) more.

Basically my question is: what is the best way to protect the baseballs? I have plastic cube/sphere holders for each individual ball, but I was talking to someone the other day and they said that UV-protective cases are the best way to go so I was thinking of upgrading to those - but is it worth it??

My baseballs sit on my two shelves above my desk and aren't really exposed to direct sunlight or direct light from a lamp, but will they still be damaged in the long run?

Sorry for the long question, thanks for reading it all if you made it this far down.

  • How do I burn music and a powerpoint on the same disc?

I need to burn a CD that contains music and a powerpoint presentation. How do I burn the disc in such a way that the powerpoint presentation will know to play the music off of the same disc when the presentation starts? (In other words, how can I tell powerpoint where to locate the music if it's on the same burned disc as the powerpoint presentation?)

    Thanks.
