changing phones, sim or phone keeps credit?????

I have a pay as you go phone but i am changing the phone it self but keeping the sim. I have credit on this sim but when i go to use the phone it says that i have no credit?? swappin the sim back to the old phone and it states i have the credit? i use a card to get credit onto my phone , now does it go on my actual phone or sim?? thanks

    Hi Jessica when you have a pay as you go sim the credit is on the sim card as it holds all the information of your credit & phone no.s etc so if you've got a problem like that then you will need to speak to your network provider ive changed my sim to different phones & never had any problems whatsoever .. sorry cant be any more help

    Be prepared to lose any credit you have, they are greedy. I have changed phones and always run the credit down first so they don't make anything from me.

    no longer in many circumstances conceivable to pass credit from one telephone variety to a various. Your provider provider might do it for you. on the different hand use your previous variety til the credit runs out and then replace over

    that's just phone companes being greedy, try to get your new phone unlocked, that should do it
