PLEASE HELP!! I need Thank You Gift Ideas?
So about two months ago, I landed the best job I've ever had with the best boss IN THE WORLD. I work for a British auto repair shop where we work on Land Rovers, Jaguars, and Mini Coopers and boss is giving me a 2003 Land Rover Freelander free and clear as a bonus (freakin awesome right?!).
So my question is, what kind of thank you gift do you give to someone who gives you a gift of that magnitude? He is very well off and basically owns it if he likes it so I'm stuck for an answer. I'm open to any and all suggestions.
To anyone who is tempted to give me the quick, easy immature reponse that suggest anything sexual, save it. I'm not amused, I think it's lame, and I'm certainly not a whore.
Thank you CJ, but I do believe that is why my boss is giving me a $25,000 car for a bonus...

Does he drink wine? Go to a wine shop and have someone who knows wine pick put a bottle of good & expensive wine.
Does he like music? Pick him up a pair of concert tickets for one of his favourite types of music.
If you can't come up with anything, a heartfelt thank you note is plenty. A gift in return is not necessary.

Any gift will be a token, a symbol of your gratitude.
So, if he drinks, a nice alcohol.
Better still is something that can't be bought -- make something, write him a lieter expressing your gratitude, and saying how much you love your job, and think he's the greatest boss ever.

I came across this site last week and I was digging it, I ended up getting my dad a great gift from here. Cool gifts + free shipping + customized gift message. I don't think you can go wrong with this one here.

No gift. Thank you card or email. Show your appreciation by showing up at work and doing a good job. (he does get a tax writeoff)
