Kill Bill: I have to ask....?

It's just like any genre of movie. It's all subjective to the individual preference. Sci-Fi movies to me are lame. Movies like Benj. Button are ridiculous and make no sense to me at all as the possiblity of it occurring is beyond stupid but other people absolutely love it. I seldom have time for movies but when I do watch one I prefer one that is either a biography or based on true events whether it's sports related or one like the recent movie starring jamie fox in the Soloist.

For Pulp fiction lovers Kill Bill is perfect because they are the target audience.

I thought they were OK. Not great, just OK.

All the fighting got a bit old after a while. It was kind of like a cartoon - one creature beats another to a pulp and then the second beats the first to a pulp.

Yeah, I get it. She's a martial arts master. Next.

no i dont think that, its inspired by old grindhouse movies, samurai films, and spaghetti westerns, the over the top violence and ridiculous revenge driven storyline is what makes it a fun and enjoyable movie without it having to be an artful masterpiece.

plus it comes from a director with a very impressive resume, having made pulp fiction, reservoir dogs, and jackie brown beforehand each of which are great movies also

Not me. I LOVE them! They ARE over the top, lots of violence and slashing and obviously fake blood..lol but as said thats what makes them fun, plus I love the soundtracks from them. I never watch horror or 'blood and guts' films, but the Kill Bills are on my favourites list.

OMG I couldn't agree more! I have seen 1 and 2 and thought both were so stpuid. My bf loves them and I cannot for the life of me understand why!! I wish I could tell you why they are so famous. If you ever find out, please let me know lol
