Whats Your Favourite Thing To See When Watching Footy?
Mine's a line break. To see a player, no matter what the team i just think its pure awesomeness to see someone break through the defense of their opponents and run the field, evading the backs.
Lol Knights, Like Gidley today aye

All of what you said there Sean. I enjoy the line breaks the hit ups the chip kicks (very rare nowa days) and ever now and then the biff. I also enjoy the occasional charge downs, but the loathe the 2 ref system. I'm over that now, they suck...LOL

Tight games and comebacks. Recently games like Bulldogs v Tigers and Rabbitohs v Sharks are good examples. Pretty much all of Round 9.
Line breaks, chip and chase runs, structured back line movements and scrum plays, pretty much any sort of creative attacking play. 40-20 attempts are cool.
I find one out running and dummy half runs, coupled with long kicks for field position boring. I also don't like it when the attack just goes sideways, passing the ball where ever, particularly on the opposition's line. It frustrates me to see teams that just throw the ball to the wings without trying to get the defence to commit to the tackle.

Cowboys to come back from 24-6 in 2007 against the Cowboys with 20 minutes to go with the Cowboys winning 25-24. Can't beat it.
In other words, I like teams to make a comeback except against the Cowboys

Definitely a try saving tackle (from a Knights player), to put everything you have in you, for you to be the last chance of hope, for everyone who has given up & your the last one left and you get the tackle its just a WOW moment to watch. But I also love to see Knights win!
Lol Yeah man how good is he, he saves tries every game lol He is my hero along with the rest of the Knights!

I agree there is nothing better than to see a player step the defence and go through or to put another player through the gap. It is great whether it's league or rugby.
I'm not a Dragon's fan buth that was a great try that Morris scored last night.

It's an absolutely wonderful sight to see either Parramatta or Cronulla being hammered by any other team in the competition, those teams executing the moves you have already mentioned against these two teams.

a really good tackle, i.e. a desperate try saver like when Gidley got Walker, or someone getting smashed, like when Simpson creamed Meyers on sunday, beautiful hit!

Try saving tackle, 100 metre solo try, miss the days of good old punchup (like 1980's State of Origin), a side on goal kick is cool too.
