How many of Lyons 3 tries were actually tries?
3, well thats whats written in th pages of history anyway. Personally I think 2 were on the border line of luck.
Did you expect Thurston to play so well after backing up from playing so well?
Thurston is a great player, thats just him without doubt.
Was Zillman's disallowed try a try?
I think so, Prince can't deny what the TV reply shows, he held Junior Sau and the rules are the rules.
Is Broncos losing their touch?
They always struggle through the end of the Season so it seems as if they have started a bit early. Nah they are only giving everyone else hope before they start stomping teams again.
Who expected Manly to win?
Well, the video ref must've put a lot on them at the TAB lol because he was the only one keeping them in the game.
Storm or Roosters? And First try scorer?
Storm will kill the Roosters, Inglis will run havock.
Honestly, David Williams for origin?
Nope, 1 game doesnt make a season. He showed to must doubt under the high ball on defence, Folau will eat him up all day long. McInnes and Monahan (can't spell) would be my wingers.
If you could resign any 3 players in your team for another 5 years who would they be?
Matulino, Hohaia & Pricey.
Whos your team playing next week? Are you worried by it?
Dont know, but we will win. GO THE WARRIORS!

Only saw the rep footy this weekend. Disappointed given how much good footy was played.
I'll watch the highlights reel and comment on the Zillman no try, as well as Lyons', but from what I've heard, one of Lyon's tries has been compared to Hayne's disallowed tap over try. If the comparison is valid, it shouldn't have been a try. The Zillman one sounds pretty sketchy.
I never expected Manly to win, but a team can't lose forever, except the Magpies and the pre-Crowe Rabbitohs. The Broncos need to ask some questions of themselves if went down to a team like that, however I think they will bounce back.
I always expect Thurston to play well. He's a natural 5/8 and has adapted well to halfback. He's used to dominating because his hooker and 5/8 are rubbish. When he doesn't play well, questions need to be asked.
Storm to score first through Slater.
Williams for Origin? Tough one, but one wing spot is wide open after City v Country. Monaghan just didn't cut it in City v Country. Williams and McManus put in strong cases, but Williams was mainly down to the one try that Jennings set up. The selectors did say they wanted someone who could score 80m tries and Williams did just that. Ultimately if Lawrence is fit, it should go to him.
I don't know who is off contract at the moment. I know Farah is stitched up. I'd sign Galloway, Gallant and someone else starting with G just to keep up the theme.
Tigers play the Bunnies next week. Will be an absolute cracker. Wing will be playing out of his skin for the sky blue #6 jersey. Isaac Luke will be seething about not being able to play in the Test. Benji will have a point to prove as well, given the criticisms about how he played in the Test and Farah needs to stay at his best to keep the Ennis supporters looking stupid.

All 3
Did you expect Thurston to play so well after backing up from playing
so well?
Well he's a class player, so yeah.
Was Zillman's disallowed try a try?
I reckon it wasn't
Is Broncos losing their touch?
I find them a little overrated, and still think they are. So I'll say yeah.
Who expected Manly to win?
lol I actually woke up this morning and said, "..we're gonna win today.." and all week I thought we wouldn't.
Storm or Roosters? And First try scorer?
Storm, and I'll say Slater
Honestly, David Williams for origin?
Yeah. Needs to pick his form up by around 10 or so % though.
If you could resign any 3 players in your team for another 5 years who would they be?
Lyon, Robertson, G.Stewart
Whos your team playing next week? Are you worried by it?
We have Parra. I'm not worried at all.

How many of Lyons 3 tries were actually tries?
2...surely you can't ground the ball with rour hip/ribs, i thought that was no try
Did you expect Thurston to play so well after backing up from playing so well?
Well apparently he always plays well the weeks after a rep game so kinda, wish he didn't though!
Was Zillman's disallowed try a try?
No, Prince had his hands over the other bloke at marker
Is Broncos losing their touch?
nah
Who expected Manly to win?
Obviously not me i tipped against them
Storm or Roosters? And First try scorer?
Storm, Chambers
Honestly, David Williams for origin?
No, Hayne and Monaghan for the wingers
If you could resign any 3 players in your team for another 5 years who would they be?
Creagh, Soward, Weyman
Whos your team playing next week? Are you worried by it?
Bulldogs, a little...should be a cracking game!

Lyons tries? Definitely one, maybe 2 on benefit of the doubt, but for mine he dropped that ball before he "grounded" it with his hips for the other one.
Thurston backing up so well? Yes, he is a great player.
Zillman's disallowed try a try? Sadly no
Broncos losing touch.? NO. Rep. Season blues again. Happens every year. They only lost by 2, and Manly got 6 points for a no try, and they were without Hunt and Hodges, so I won;t be pressing the panic button yet.
Manly to Win? Not me, I tipped the Broncs.
Storm or Roosters? Storm.
First try scorer? Inglis or Slater
David Williams for Origin? yes
Resign any 3 players? Hunt, Falou, Wallace
Team playing next week? Titans
Am I worried? Yes and no. Depends if we have all our players available, but I will tip the Broncos.

All were fine, only the one were he tapped it was slightly doubtful, but I still would of given it a try.
Thurston always backs up well, I expected that from him.
Zillman's disallowed try is not a try because of Scott Prince obstructing Junior Say.
I think the Broncos might be going out of form for a little bit.
I tipped the Broncos. I thought that Manly were very small chance of winning, but good on em.
Storm. Greg Inglis.
Possibly. If not Williams then it should be Monaghan or Chris Lawrence
Ashley Graham, Ben Farrar, John Williams (punish Williams for a shocker, he let Brett score 4 tries)
Warriors. I am worried. Warriors will probably win but I will not give up hope.

How many of Lyons 3 tries were actually tries?
2. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on the tap forward, the one he grounded with his torso was def a knock on but. Unless the rule states that you can ground a ball with your torso, but not knock it on with your torso. In which case, whoever made the rule needs their head examined.
Did you expect Thurston to play so well after backing up from playing so well?
Yes, he generally backs up well. If it was a Sunday game as opposed to Sat night, he might have struggled a bit more with lactic acid etc.
Was Zillman's disallowed try a try?
I think so. It was a quick dummy half run, I don't think Sau had a legit chance of tackling him, so the interference was moot in my (maroon-tinted) opinion. Still silly for Prince to go grabbing him though
Is Broncos losing their touch?
Don't think so, I think it's more a case of rep footy syndrome catching up with them again; maybe they would have held on if the game was on Saturday instead of Sunday. Gives the lactic acid an extra day to crystallise. Their second half performances this season haven't exactly inspired confidence either - look for this story to be repeated over origin season.
Who expected Manly to win?
Me, kinda. Manly have a great record up here
Storm or Roosters? And First try scorer?
Roosters
Pearce. Something to prove after not playing this weekend
Honestly, David Williams for origin?
Nah. For mine, NSW wingers are Hayne and Lawrence, with Cooper and Jennings in the centres. Injuries and suspensions notwithstanding, of course.
If you could resign any 3 players in your team for another 5 years who would they be?
Hunt, Thaiday, Wallace (would say Lockyer, but realistically won't be at NRL level in 5 years)
Whos your team playing next week? Are you worried by it?
Gold Coast. No team particularly 'worries' me (as they shouldn't, you should approach every team with confidence), but we do well against them up here and at Suncorp always makes for a cracking game.
- 1 decade ago
All of 'em.
Thurston's turned himself off cruise mode and is playing great. No surprise there.
Prince is an idiot that lost his team the game, as I proudly gloated today.
No, Manly's just re-finding theirs.
I never saw it coming, Broncos were spewing over last weeks lost and they made it two in a row.
Storm. Scratch my first tryscorer, I have no idea.
I'd like to see him out there.
Gidley, McManus and De Gois.
Roosters. It's not at home so you never know, but it should be a win.
