Outdoor and/or rooftop bars in NYC?

I'm going to a concert at Lincoln Center in a few weeks and I'm looking for a nice outdoor or rooftop bar in the midtown / midtown west area. I've been to the Boat Basin and Bryant Park patio grill, but was looking for something with perhaps a little more atmosphere since my date and I will be dressed nicely and it's a special occasion. I'm also trying to avoid places that charge $15 a drink. Does anyone have any suggestions? What about Ava Lounge at the Dream Hotel or 230 Fifth?
