  • Coupon Codes/Promo Codes for Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson NJ?

Usually I have good luck using Google to find coupon codes or promotions for Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. However, I am not having such luck this year. Does anyone know of any promotional codes or coupons available?

In the past I know the promo code COLDSTONE worked for half-price tickets on-line and last year if you brought a pack of Stride gum you got the same deal at the park ticket counters.

    Thanks!

  • Good bar in NYC for late 20s/early 30s crowd?

My boyfriend and I are going out to dinner in the West Village. Can anyone recommend a good bar or lounge in the area or uptown towards Penn Station that caters to a late 20s/early 30s crowd?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

  • Recommendations for vacation this fall!?

My friend are looking to take about a week long (7-10 days) trip ton an international destination. We traveled around central and southern Ireland last year and had an absolute blast, so we are looking for something along the same lines. In more or less words we would like a travel experience where we can enjoy some outdoor adventures/activities (biking, hiking), cultural sights, and some enjoyable nightlife. Obviously places that are close enough to warrant a 7-10 day trip or won't break the budget.

Right now we are considering Spain or possibly Germany and the surrounding smaller countries. We have both already been to Mexico, London, Ireland, and Paris, so those are out of the question, and I promised my boyfriend I would save trips to Italy and Greece with him.

Any suggestions and recommendations you can make would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advanced!

  • Cute town for relaxing, overnight stay in NJ, PA, NY, or CT area?!?

My boyfriend and I are looking to get away for a night somewhere relaxing and not too expensive. We were thinking a cute little town in a semi-rustic area would be fun. I guess what we are looking for is something where we can walk around during the day and enjoy nature and at night grab dinner and then go out to a small local bar for a drink.

    Does such a place exist?

We live in NJ, so we were thinking something somewhere in Eastern, PA would be great but just don't know where to start looking. Even NY or CT are viable options.

Thanks for any suggestions you may have!

  • NYC Restaurant for Birthday?

Can anyone recommend a restaurant in NYC with nice atmosphere, an average entrée price between $10-$20, and the ability to accommodate a party of approximately 10-12 people? A BYOB would be awesome, but I’m not really sure how prevalent those are in the city!

Also, can anyone comment on the following restaurants, especially in terms of being able to handle a party of that size?

    Panna II

    Krik Krak

    Catch de Fish

    Kuma Inn

    Bar 6

    Zerza Mediterrano

    Gauntanamera

    Antibes Bistro

    Sigiri

Any recommendations or comments would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

  • Montreal Nightlife Recommendations?

My boyfriend and I are off to Montreal for a little vacation next month. We are looking to get out and really have a lot of fun and a few good nights of dancing. Does anyone have any recommendations for bars, clubs, and/or lounges in Montreal that are suitable to a couple in their late 20's?

  • Boston nightlife and dining recommendations?!?

My boyfriend and I will be heading to Boston this weekend and will be staying in the Financial District. Can anyone recommend some great restaurants and bars? We aren't looking to spend a ton of money, so preferably places that won't cost an arm and a leg (i.e. bars where the drinks are $14, restaurants with $25-$30 entres). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  • Best sauce to go with cheese gnocchi?

I bought some fresh made cheese gnocchi earlier today, but I have no idea what kind of sauce to use with it! Could I just use a jar of store bought tomato sauce or vodka sauce or would a cream sauce be better?

Any recommendations or recipes would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

  • Best things to do in San Diego?

I'm considering a vacation to San Diego this August. What are your favorite things to do and see in the area? Any recommendations for areas to dine, places to party or grab a few drinks (in late 20's so nothing too young), and attractions to see would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for all your help in advanced!

  • Best city for Texas vacation?

My boyfriend and I are considering taking a 4-5 day vacation somewhere this August. At first we were thinking San Diego or maybe even Las Vegas. I did see a relatively cheap flight from the New York area to San Antonion, TX though and thought that might be fun as well.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which city in Texas is the best to visit (i.e. San Antonio, Dallas, Houston)? Also, if I did decide to go to San Antonion, what are the best attractions to visit?

Thanks for your help and recommendations!

  • Best and worst places to sit for a baseball game?

My boyfriend is a Phillies fan and I was thinking of taking him to a game for his birthday. There is only one problem. I have no idea what are considered really bad seats. When I chose "Best Available" all that seems to be left are tickets in the outfieldish area near the baselines furthest from home plate. (Ok, I realize I have NO clue what I'm talking about, but I'm doing my best to describe the location). Are those terrible seats?

Any recommended websites where I can purchase cheaper tickets?

  • Washington DC nightlife?

I will be staying downtown DC around the Dupont Circle area. I am looking for some bars/lounges in the area that are fun as well as not too pretentious and expensive. Anyone have any recommendations?

  • Looking for NYC Restaurant Recommendations?

I am taking my boyfriend to the NY Philharmonic this weekend and am looking for a nice restaurant for dinner before the concert. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I would prefer something that has nice atmosphere (romantic or trendy) where we wouldn't feel out of place being nicely dressed for the concert. I am looking for the average entree price to be roughly $18-$28. I will be staying around Union Square and the concert hall is near Colombus Circle, so I was hoping to find something between those two locations, but that is not a must.

Thank you for your help in advance!

  • Outdoor and/or rooftop bars in NYC?

I'm going to a concert at Lincoln Center in a few weeks and I'm looking for a nice outdoor or rooftop bar in the midtown / midtown west area. I've been to the Boat Basin and Bryant Park patio grill, but was looking for something with perhaps a little more atmosphere since my date and I will be dressed nicely and it's a special occasion. I'm also trying to avoid places that charge $15 a drink. Does anyone have any suggestions? What about Ava Lounge at the Dream Hotel or 230 Fifth?

  • Top sights/attractions in Madrid, Spain?

I am planning a trip to Madrid this fall. What are the recommended sights, activities and attractions in the city? I have already started my preliminary research, but always find people's personal recommendations to be very helpful!

  • Great European cities to visit?!?

For the past couple of years I have been trying to do an annual European vacation. Usually I like to fly to London and team up with a friend who lives there, spend a few days in London and then hit a fun city nearby. So far I have managed both Paris and Barcelona. I am pretty confident in my ability to travel at a wallet friendly rate, but this year I just don't know where to go!!

I want to do a big trip to Italy, so that is out of the question this year. I started looking into Ireland (mainly staying in Dublin with some day trips to other attractions since it's a small country), but it just seems quite expensive and I keep reading that hotel and travel prices there have nearly doubled over the last couple of years.

Basically I am looking for a great city to visit that is in relatively close flying distance to London. I would prefer a place where public transport is readily available and I can stay entertained in that city for 4-5 days easily. I am just not up for planning a trip where i have to travel around the country to multiple cities. That is what made a trip to Paris and Barcelona so easy and accomodating...everything was right there and there was plenty to do!

I was thinking maybe Madrid? Some place warmer is always appealing!! Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed!!

    Thank you =)

  • Anyone ever eaten at this NYC restaurant?

I was thinking of trying out Le Petit Un Deux Trios in midtown and was wondering if anyone had eaten there and could offer up their opinion.

  • Restaurant recommendation?

I am looking for recommendations for a nice, possibly romantic restaurant that isn't too far from Avery Hall (65th St @ 9th Ave). So the mid-town west, central park west area would probably be ideal, but basically I would like to stay out of downtown to eliminate a long taxi ride/fare to the theater. I am open to any type of cuisine but would like to keep the price around $15-$25 for an entree.

    Thanks for your help!!
