What game should I purchase?

Question

1: I want an open world game that is really fun and takes a long time to finish. Any "good" open world games? Do you think I should get Resident Evil 5 or something else?

2: I love racing games as well, but I don't know what game is a good to pick for me! I have finished Need for Speed Undercover,Grid, Forza Motorsport 2, Burnout Paradise, and Nascar (up to 08). Do you think I should pick up a copy of Nascar 09, purchase a different racing game that is available now, or wait until something else comes out like Need for Speed Shift, or Dirt 2?

1. fallout 3 has way more gameplay time than re5, especially with the dlc on 360.

Resident evil 5 is a really and I mean really long game, its also really fun!  Its open world too.  But make shure your not afraid of zombies or anything but beside that there is nothing bad about it.

Try Fable 2 if you have an Xbox 360.

Any rpg game is pretty fantastic. Fable 2 is good.

Else try the gears of war.

RE5 is fantastic, but only if you play with someone. I recommend Oblivion if you're looking for something that will take forever to finish or BioShock if you want a good story.

Zelda- Ocarina of Time, if you have not played it. It is an adventure game, and it is hailed as the greatest game of all time, by many. 

If you haven't played this, you MUST. 
If so, try Zelda, Majora's Mask :D
