I hear this in two ways. One is basically humanitarianism -- love you create in your life. The other is doing good as an investment in karma (good things come back to you) or afterlife.

Wisdom, patience, giving and compassion are often considered spiritual wealth.

It's an investment you make in your relationship with God. Those in Heaven will be rewarded for their faithful service and will reap the benefits of their spiritual wealth.

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where theives break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where theives do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matt.6:19-21

Spiritual wealth is treasures of the heart. The Word of God. Jesus Christ, living in us. Jesus is more precious than silver or gold. The Treasure is Jesus Himself. Having Jesus in your heart. God Bless
