When I worked on the railroad, the engines had a decal that read "MAX SPEED 70 MPH." Many times - too many to count - it was often altered to read, "MA PEED 70 MPH."

In at least two engines' toilet compartment: "Deposit seniority here" with a downward-pointing arrow.

Newer units had decals stating. "This unit equipped with extended range dynamic brakes," that was frequently altered to read, "This unit equipped with extended range bra."

The vinyl lettering advising one to "Watch Your Step" had been modified to read, "Watch Your Pets" and "Chew Pot."

One toilet compartment had on one side, "S**thouse Ping Pong - Look Right." "Look Left" was on the opposite wall.

There was a train that had a hole in the back of the caboose (sp?) and someone had painted a funky looking face on it so where the hole looked like they were opening their mouth really wide. I giggled.
