Would You Have Done The Same?

We live in an area where everyone has a 40 acre lot. My neighbor has(had) 3 horses, 6 dogs, 4 cats, and 5 kids. The Humane Society had been to their property 5 times because neighbors had called about cruelty. The animals weren't being fed properly and the male homeowner could be seen daily beating the dogs. We (4 surrounding neighbors) got tired of the BS and governmental foot dragging while the animals continued to suffer, that we became Vigilantes. While the family was gone for the weekend, we loaded up all the animals and took them to a safe place hours away from the area where they will be taken care of. As we expected, there was an investigation to find out what happened, and it has been closed with no leads.How many of you would have done the same thing?
