Trying to delete some registry code and it's not working?

I have some aol code on my comp and want to delete all this from the register,well when I delete it gives me a popup saying access denied..?

I have never come across this in the registry before and was wondering why and if maybe a virus has something to do with it.thanks for your answers

    Log in as administrator.

    =

    administrator + password

    I suggest you don't randomly modify the registry without knowing what you're doing. Actually, just don't do it at all.
