long distance relationship....will it work for us?
I'm 22 and i have a korean bf who's 32. he was my former student...i was teaching him english. he's currently in korea. i'm in philippines. we haven't seen each other in person except on web cam. we've been in our long distance relationship for 8 months now. he's been very optimistic about our relationship and he'd always say that we'd be together someday...it's very nice to hear that but i'm not actually sure if we'd really end up together. (P.S. I really like this guy!)

It will work if the two of you are serious with your relationship, find ways and allow it to grow with your constant communication.

to be honest, most long distance relationships fail. but like what you said, that your guy is so optimistic about the 2 of you and then you really like him, your relationship might work. good luck for the 2 of you :)

If you both have the commitment needed then, yes, no reason it shouldn't. I wish you luck and I am always happy to see long distance relationships work.

I say try it and see how it goes. Visit as often as possibly and move closer together as soon as possible.
I would really appreciate it if you could answer my long distance relationship question too.

long distance just does not work. either you move to korea immediately or ask him to move to philippines. otherwise sooner or later it will break.
