Exam and English Coursework..?
I got a D in my English Literature coursework, which I wasn't happy about. But if I do well in my exam do I have a chance of getting a C or possibly a B as an overall grade?

Ignore the people who are saying you have no chance of getting a B, as the exam is worth 70% of the grade. If you get full marks in the exam (70%) and you have achieved 50% of the marks in the coursework (which I think is a D) then you'll have got an A!
But getting full marks in the exam is very hard, and your performance in the coursework is often reflected in the exam because the style of writing required in the coursework is useful for the exam (e.g. using evidence in text explanation subtlety)
However, if you work really hard for this exam and revise well, I'd say you're in with a chance of getting a B.
Good luck!

Yeh, in your exam you definitely have the chance of getting a C. They usually mark the exam essays more generously then they do in coursework so you have a chance of getting a B. Good luck :)

You have to get an A to get a B or C overall. Might just be lucky if you get a B cos the exam might make up most of the final mark XD

You do. Some people collude and cheat like heck in their coursework. I was 21st in my class of 30 in coursework cos I was doing it on my own but came 2nd in the exam in Year 10.

If it's a high D, you might have a chance of getting a C. The exam would have to be worth quite a bit to make even a B-, though.

it depends on what percent of your semester grade relies on your final exam. if it is the same at my school: quarter 1: 40% quarter 2: 40% final exam: 20%, then yes it would be possible to get a "B" if you do well on the final.
