I believe I have created an unbreakable secret code. How can I profit from it?

I figured that I might be able to make chunk of change if I sold my code to the government or to an institution that needs to transmit and receive important data without their competition being able to read their messages. I have even created a test to see if my code is unbreakable. So far, no one has been able to crack it.

Get it patented with Patent office.

If it is public/private key encryption - it's prolly been patented - you might have just re-developed someone else's patent. There are hundreds of encryption algorithms out there; RSA, Diffie-Hellman, etc.

If RSA likes it, you might want to talk to them and see if they can break it. If they can't, you might be able to sell it.
