Is there someone out there who knows my father?
He went by the name of Jerry Francis. Jerry may be a nickname. He was in the Air Force and was stationed at Mitchel Field (AFB) on Long Island, New York. I'm 99% positive that he was there during December of 1953. Another airman named Lester or Les may have introduced him to my mother. He told my mother that he was going to some other air base in the South. Possibly Georgia. If any of this information sounds familiar or like anyone you know, please respond.

3 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade agoI wonder if there is anyone out there who can help me find my father?
I don't know if I'm supposed to be asking a question like this, but it's important to me. I'm 55 years old and I've never known my biological father. Some people would say, "Jeez, You're 55 and you're still wondering about your dad? Get over it. He's probably dead." Well, if he's dead, I would like to know if he had a wife and kids. If I have aunts and uncles and other relatives that I've never known. I feel incomplete because I only have my mother's side of my family.
My wife and I have tried to locate him for a number of years with no luck. I'm hoping that someone out there will know of my father and be able to tell me where I can contact him or his family. So here goes. My father's name is Jerry Francis or Frances. He was in the Air Force in 1953 when he met my mother. He may have been stationed at Hempstead Air Field/Base on Long Island, New York. He may now be in his late 70s or early 80s. I know that some one will suggest that I contact the military records archive in St. Louis, but I can tell you that there was a fire and his military records were destroyed along with many others. I do appreciate any help I might receive and hope that this will end many years of frustration.

What I mean is not for any one player or one team. I'm talking about all the major league teams collectively on one day during a regular season. How many and on what day?

Also, the thickness of the paper before folding is .003 inches thick.
I've worked this out numerous times. I'm just asking to see if I'm correct.

And I'm talking about all aspects: reliability, mileage, power, ease of service and repairs, looks, styling, drivability and anything else you can think of. And I mean all of automotive history.
3 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoDoes anyone know if the TV series "Dr. Kildare" will ever come out on DVD?
My wife and I love this show and we're a bit apprehensive about buying any of these sets we see advertised online. We're waiting for an official release from a reputable distributor.
1 AnswerDrama1 decade agoI believe I have created an unbreakable secret code. How can I profit from it?
I figured that I might be able to make chunk of change if I sold my code to the government or to an institution that needs to transmit and receive important data without their competition being able to read their messages. I have even created a test to see if my code is unbreakable. So far, no one has been able to crack it.
