What's the record for the most pitches to a player at a single at bat?

Now I'm talking with a full count of 3-2 and all the foul balls and the pitch that got him on base or struck him out.

    here is no official record for most pitches faced in one plate appearance or most foul balls in one plate appearance. Every pitch of every game wasn't tracked as closely as they are now until the late 1980's. There is a legend that Roy Thomas who played 100+ years ago had a 22 pitch at-bat.

    I remember a Johnny Damon 17 pitch at-bat in the famous comeback series against the Yankees. They said it was the most ever in an ALCS.

    I tink I remember a plauyer receiving 16 pitches. And on the 16th pitch he homered.

    The pitcher defeintly wasnt gonna throw a ball.

    I think Chone Figgins had a 17 pitch at bat this season. But I could be wrong.
