I need help unlocking a Verizon cell phone so that I can get a PEDOPHILE caught.?

I have a friend that needs to unlock her 13 year old daughter's cell phone because we believe that there are messages on this phone from the MOM's 50 year old ex boyfriend. Come to find out he has been coming over acting like he is visiting the Mom and the whole while he has been sneaking around with the 13 yr old and calling her on this cell phone that he bought and gave to her so that he could set up meetings with her. She has been sneaking out of the house at night to have sex with him in the woods. Also when the Mom isn't home she would call him to come over. The Mom has reported this to the police and the are investigating it, but it is up to the Mom to get the evidence up from the phone.

So...now he is in jail (he got busted for a METH lab) that he had set up in his shed. The cops do not have his cell phone and the mom is trying to get into the child's cell but she has it set up with a pass code. And she is refusing to tell it.

So what we want to know is...is there a way that we can by- pass the lock/code that the girl has set up in the phone. We are trying to get at the messages and the call log.

Please help!!!
