Downloading Song Demo?
Is it illegal to download a band's demo of a song, which later become a song on their album? Also, this is a professional band and this song I want was on a compilation of an album.
Forgot to write that the song they put in the album was different from the demo.

it depends on where you download it from
the copyright laws STILL do cover the song, in ANY form.
so unless you paid for it, or the band released or posted it on their own,
it is still illegal
