Would you sell your eyes for a million dollars? No, you wouldn't because your eyes are to valuable to you! So would I deny my Lord for a lousy million dollars that would later slip through my fingers?

No. I would not denounce my faith in God for money. What does it prophet a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? (Mark 8:36)

    Jesus paid my price.

  • I'd be sorely tempted. I could really use a million dollars. I'd pay off all my mom's hospital bills and make sure she had the best medical care possible (she has cancer, and the treatment is costing an arm and a leg)... set up college funds for my nieces and nephews... and put the rest aside so that my husband and I wouldn't be so worried about money when he gets out of the military.

But no, I don't think I would. I have faith that God will bring us through all of it.

  • No. I don't have a price. I have given up job offerings if I would only violate my religious beliefs, I didn't. So why should I do it only for a million, you can't buy a house in NYC for that!

    Reminds me of a story:

A man approached a woman an asked her if she would go with them to his place ... for a million dollars.

She said, sounds good, I'll go.

When she was ready to leave, she asked for the million, he gave her $50, she said, where is the rest of the money?

He replied: "We already know what kind of person you are, now we are just arguing over the amount.

    No!

Simple... Matthew 10:22 reads, he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.

It's not a case of once saved always saved, we have to endure whatever trials we have in life to the very end. The only price that awaits if you do what your question asks is James 1: 14-15, But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire.  Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.

The person who gave me the money would be an idiot. Words are cheap, and it's impossible to buy any meaning behind them. If it's a superficial or symbolic victory that they're after though, yeah. I'd probably give it to them for a million dollars.

    No way...

But I would consider to denounce any other religion just for 100,000

It is a bargain, take it now before the price increases!

Speak for yourself. The only price I have or will ever be bought with is the blood of Jesus; if you care more about money than your convictions in whatever it is you believe in (if anything at all) then that's your thing; dont' try to project your shallow attitude onto me.

You can alway ask for forgivness after,

And besides God probably wont be to mad if you dontated at least half of it to charity.

OF course people say no but I reckon if you put one million dollar of cash in front of them they will probably change there mind

I'm an atheist. If someone gave me 1 million dollars, I would gladly accept Buddhism.
