As a wide range of deniers talk about U.N. conspiracies, Political conspiracies, Scientific conspiracies without a shred of evidence, none of them sound like anything more than what they are, something made up without even thinking through the logic.

atherton: "wiki is not a credible source"

but heartland, wattsup and royspencer are!!

And having seen it in a number of questions today I assume this weeks pointless Al Gore factoid is he has a new house in San Francisco, as usual who cares.

Ben O: You don't have to infer that AGW is real to prove that denier conspiracy theories are nonsense, and calling anyone who states that a socialist or communist is getting pretty pointless.

Simple. Because there are extra skeptics than "Believers". I can uncover only a few "believers" in my neighborhood. Most are skeptics and desire extra data. I uncover there are extra skeptics daily, on the grounds that the AGW conception is being proved incorrect via nature and extra scientists and PHd's popping out as skeptical. Common feel needs skepticism whilst data exhibit the sector has been on a longer term warming fashion for over sixteen,000 years certainly, then has been on a brief time period cooling fashion for the final eleven years. This by myself indicates the items and assumptions being utilized by AGW proponents to be suspect. I suppose we can uncover we fairly understand not up to 50% approximately all of the variables worried in international local weather difference and it is going to be decades earlier than truly consensus can occur.

Yes the political section. The deniers are motivated completely by politics. Look at the example above me where anybody who is not a denier is automatically labeled with the political label "socialist". That is now a favorite word of the right wing and they actually have no idea what it means.

First: wiki is not a credible source, that is like saying CBS news or NBC news tells the truth, please.

Second: it is real, Al Gore is so dedicated to the cause that he bought a house in San Fran to cut down on his private jet trips to attend investor meetings at Kleiner Perkins in Menlo Park. This took real guts for him and show that he could and will make a difference and now is putting his money where his mouth is by buying in a neighborhood that could eventually disappear.

Third: Dear Obama please please save us. It should be manditory for anyone that makes more than 50K to buy solar panels and ride public transportation. This would stop global warming faster than any other program in the world and kill any revenue generated by the gas tax and any jobs created by the "big oil" companies. I'm sorry but this is the only answer.

    You mean like this?

"I had another interesting experience around the time my paper in Science was published. I received an astonishing email from a major researcher in the area of climate change. He said, "We have to get rid of the Medieval Warm Period."

to the "Is wiki a credible source" questions, perhaps not but the links are.

I once told a co-worker that I was having nightmares about ice burgs melting and I thought it was attributed to all the stories regarding global warming.

My co-worker responded that global warming is a made up scare tactic. I asked her where did she hear this? She answered her pastor told her.

I believe the religious right has Global Warming confused with Darwinism because of its scientific support.

    I believe in politics.

Are you implying that AGW must be real because the alternative is the existance of a conspiracy? No the alternative is that there is poltics at work.

Fore example, from your question I know you are a socialist - how do I know this? Can I read your mind? No, AGW is an entirely political movement. Take away the politics and there is no AGW.
