My browser is going insane, it flickers a menu of sites that have been visited in the past for no reason.?

The computer 'defaults' to the browser making it go to sites instead of continuing with the task I want to work with. I have tried deleting the history and temp. files. Any one have an idea on ficing this?

Try down loading AD Aware and running a full scan.

Has this been coming on for a while or did it arrive all of a sudden? If it just started, you can try system restore.

Otherwise, I think you will have to run a full anti-virus. You have a bug in there.

  • if you have not used it start with

download install and run (then at least weekly)

    http://ccleaner.com/

it will delete the temp files and browser cookies left behind every time you browse the web

it will help with the problem you describe +it will get you memory back and speed up browsing times

i would then delete and re install your browser / s in case it /they have become corrupted

    hope this will help you
