Question about Fox News and their coverage?

I have heard people say, or scream, that Fox News lies. Can anyone point out a lie that Fox News has stated?

Update:

please don't just say, well they lie and stuff, if it is so prevalent give one example, just one I need to know and think that people should back up their allegations so they don't sound like they are upset because Fox isn't enchanted or get tingles up their leg over obama

They document the actual incontrovertible truth that maximum the "information stations" are contained in the tank,. A truth, not a whine. Do you imagine asking an same Q receives diverse info? Fox has more advantageous viewer totals and rankings over the subsequent 3 cable information channels mixed. because they conceal information, not invent it, they're` whining 'all a thanks to the monetary business employer.

Must be that drumbeat of racist hate, lies and fear that is their nightly program. Probably confuses "conservatives" because they're so eager to eat those lies whole.

Just the constant "Obama is a Muslim" is probably enough - how about the stupid trash about "Obama's birth certificate" - oh ya, you guys are still pumping that handle. You might still be pumping the "Muslim" handle too... So you probably don't think those are lies....

FOX "News" needs to be taken off the air - Murdock put in prison or deported - their properties seized and sold at auction.

Besides the fact that O'Reilly recently commented about Churchill condoning and using torture. This was a blatant lie and proves O'Reilly's inane nightly talking points have no basis of truth. Along with Hannity's vitriol and nonsense, he pledged on the air to be water boarded for military charities and families and has yet to abide by his promise. Faux News' Brit Hume confirmed that after Bush left the White House, Fox had to rely on right-wing think tanks for their Republican pablum.

They give opinion mostly. Therefore, as opposed to fact, their statements can't be disproven. Hannity is wrong every night however. He said dick Ayers was only the tip of the iceberg.

But on a similar note, Fox is supposed to be balanced but I never see equal time for rebuttal. Also, they always seem to get some mental midget to represent the liberal viewpoint. Hardly fair and balanced.

    You're simply observing the obvious.

Liberals are apparently unable to distinguish between "opinion" and "news".

This is apparent when watching such liberal mouthpiece agencies as CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC on their nightly news programs. The flagship program, Keith Olberman's news broadcast - is replete with opinion, and starkly lacking in real news content. Since they do it that way, they presume (without actually watching) that Fox does it the same way.

Fox, on the other hand - broadly distinguishes between news programs such as that hosted by Shepard Smith; and opinion programs such as Hannity, Beck, and The Factor. There is very little news on the opinion shows - and very little opinion on the news shows.

That's actually called "journalism" in objective terms. But "objectivity" itself is rarely exercised in the liberal mass media.

No news - no surprise. Good observation, though.

One other observation: Thumbs down from liberals is confirmation that I'm right. Thanks for agreeing with me.

Whenever a republican politician screws up and gets caught, Fox news put a (D) next to their names because they're whores, plain and simple.

Just watch Bill, Sean, Ann, Glenn and rest of the Fox News team of FAIR AND BALANCED TO THE RIGHT.

The Fox haters will be able to point to some inaccuracies but I bet there are just as many inaccuracies at CNN & especially at MSNBC.

Recent: A couple days ago, BillO claimed that Winston Churchill supported torture and went on a rant that claimed the British did so during and after WWII, and by implication water boarding is OK.

That was not true. The British never tortured and he used a Nazi source (did not credit) that claimed it happened. It was investigated at the time, and later and found not to be credible.
