How do I prevent the neighbors' dogs from pooping in my yard?
I live in very nice subdivision with mostly nice people where many of them have dogs. They walk them every day through the neighboorhod. From time to time I found dog's poop in my front yard. I really hate when this happen because my kid spend lot of time playing around the house. Usually people are good about picking their dog's poop(although I hate that too because they can't pick all of it!), at least most of them, but probably some of them covered by darkness of the night are not doing that. My question would be is it somehow possible without causing any harm to dogs, to prevent them from pooping in my yard? Thanks for any suggestion!

i would have to agree with the first persons answer of putting up a fence,or maybe even a sign stating please no dog dumping here or something to that effect.i do know they have sprays and powders that keep pets out of your flower beds and gardens and things like that so you might check into that.you could possibly buy it by the gallon in a concentrate and spray your yard where this is occuring.

Hi
Prevent them? Not likely.
But you could put up a sign asking owners to pick it up. You could also put a stake in the ground with trash bags & a pooper scooper, and they would probably get the idea.
Best of luck,

Talk to your neighbor calmly and reasonably about it. Say you understand its a dog and it goes where it goes but youd like them to make sure the dogs go in their own yards.

If you know who it is talk to them calmly without accusing. If that doesn't work then gather it up in a plastic grocery bag and Label: Regifted doggy poo given from your dog to me couldn't find the Use for it So I am giving it BACK to you. LMFA or just put it in there mail box...Wait for them to take the bag out of the mailbox wait for them to yelp and drop the bag and laugh your A** off.
P.S. This may cause war

get with neighbor one day about spending a day with their dog. When you have the dog stick something up its azz and leave it there. If the neighbor doesn't notice that's great but even if they do and take it out dogs are smart and it will get the point and most likely pass up your house for now on
