What constitutes "morality" changes radically over time and across social boundaries. While there are some generalities on issues like theft, murder, and rape that can be found in most cultures, there are a lot of different definitions of crime and punishment for crimes. For example, a very big part of modern ethics is based on social equality. However in 15th century Europe it was believed that strict hierarchy was the basis for social well-being. That is just a small example of how social views and morality alter over time. In order to understand past societies it is best to look at them in the context of the worldview that was in place at the time and not superimpose modern sensibilities on them.

Probably as much as the christians. What was once heresy or not accepted by the church is now fact or "ok" with the church. The church does not care about right or wrong just how much money and converts it will produce. At lease the atheist acknowledge that morality has nothing to do with religion even though religion is one of the most efficient ways of imposing a small groups interpretation of morality on the masses. Just look at what the church has done in the past. Even the church bows to the ever changing societies perceptions of right and wrong. Think about it!

This question is mis-construed. As the Greek philosophical tradition AND the Bible totally agree, the greatest of the cardinal virtues is Prudence, which deals with the application of eternal morals in particular circumstances.

My moral values have changed since I was a kid. I believe in change under certain conditions. Yes, I do believe that there have been many changes in history.

Right and wrong is absolute but can cannot resist tinkering with everything.

The bible tells us that the days will come when man will say that wrong is right and that right is wrong. Those are the days in which we now live.

There is no right or wrong. Do you think God has such use for right and wrong if God is perfect? We supposedly need right and wrong to govern our sanity and lively hood.
