Oh hun I'm sorry you're feeling down :( I too have PCOS. I was diagnosed in June 08. I have a milder case, I'm also only like 10lbs overweight and I'm not Insulin Resistant. Clomid 50mg was waaaay to strong for me. It gave me lots of mature follies, but thinned out my uterine lining way thin. My advice is to just follow your doctor's advice. Is your doctor a Reproductive Endocrinologist? They are the BEST for PCOS patients by the way :) I did trial and error with some meds through my RE's office. I had countless blood draws and transvaginal ultrasounds. I had to have the Sonohyst where they look for fibroids in your uterus and blocked tubes. I had some self pity days for sure. I cried and cried. My hubby was a big help at making me feel better. In January 09 we started oral meds + injectable meds. That combo was the perfect combo for me and I'm currently 17 weeks 4 days pregnant :) It can happen hun!! Believe :) Best wishes and a whole big bag of Baby Dust to you!!! Chin up hun!! I'm very sorry to hear your story :( just don't give up and keep trying because anything is possible. My advice would be to try to get your body as healthy as possible before conceiving bc it makes it so much easier. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 07 and was not having periods any more and was very overweight. I was not trying to get pregnant at the time so my doctor just basically said lose weight or you will become diabetic within the year. It seemed so unfair to me and it was so hard but I decided I would do something about it and I started dieting and went to a diet dr. who gave me a prescription diet pill called phentermine. I took it for 9 months and ended up losing 60 pounds!!! as soon as I lost the weight my periods came back 100% normal like clockwork every 28 days. I got pregnant my first month of trying after one night of sex lol. Losing weight helped my PCOS SOOO much. I am 20 weeks pregnant now with a girl. It feels awesome to be able to share my story now and I really wish you the best of luck. I know how badly it sucks having so many things going against you, it's not fair. But anything is possible so do not give up!!!! Good luck hun:)

  • I really wish that I could tell you anything that would help you feel better. I just dont have any experience with this. Pray and relax. God will bless you when he feels you are ready. You will be a mommy one day.
