Who would u tell lie to...............?

Well please give me your opinion

There's my crush, he told my best friend that he's not sure if he likes me or not because we didnt talk much in person, but there maybe a chance between us.( they chatted on msn and my friend pasted all the convo to me)

He seems care about me, but we r too shy, so we talked twice only.Then i asked him if he likes me in person. He said he's not sure because we didnt talk much.

He's a really really shy guy, i know he was scared when i ask that, he took a few steps back when i asked, so now his answer for me is: not sure!

But a guy friend who's not close to him, ask him if he likes me, and he said...just friend. The next day that guy friend asked about "the chance". My crush said" I didnt say that"

But he really did. It's obivous that he was lying

But if you were him, who would u lie to? My bestfriend and me, or that guy friend?( they r not close, they are just like mate or sumthing)

Please help! But i felt like it's was kind of being rejected. How sad:(
