GCSE Maths - stratified samplying help?
Hey, I have real trouble actually remembering the equation, and where every number is supposed to go - can someone give me some simple formula to work out stratified samplying.
Also, I am completely clueless with this question, please explain your answer::

Stratified means that the sample will be in the same ratios as the population. In this case 1/6th shown by the last column 120 in population to 20 in sample. Therefore the third column first row should be 6 times 22= 132. Now you have one left in the first row but the total in the population is 600 so add them up and subtract giving you 198.
the two remaining spaces will be 198/6 and 150 /6.
The sample will have to have 100 members.

do a male and female table then within each gender do the left and right hand times, from there do a tally showing which scores belonged to which age group, 10-14 etc
