I have an internet connection but when i open mozilla firefox or safari, it says i don't have one. help?

      and here's what safari says: Safari can’t connect to the server.
Safari can’t open the page “http://www.apple.com/startpage/” because Safari can’t connect to the server “www.apple.com”.

if you have a cable modem try unplugging to reset if you have a router do the same thing. that is what we do because our comcast modem has a problem locking up. otherwise check your connection settings or have somebody look at your computer.
