Similac VS. Enfamil...for reflux baby..?

Is it possible for a baby with reflux to tolerate enfamil lipil better than similac advance? My 6 week old daughter has reflux. I mostly breastfeed her, but sometimes supplement with formula. We tried supplementing with similac advance first-she projectile spat up every single time, so the doc switched her to similac isomil - a soy based formula - she did much better. We ran out of the isomil and the only thing I had handy was a sample of Enfamil Lipil. She did not spit up. Could she be tolerating this milk-based formula better than the other or could it be her reflux getting better?

I used similac for my first 2 kids and now with my 4 month old I've been using Enfamil and they both seem the same but it will all depend which formula your baby will prefer so don't stock up on any brands yet... try 2 get some samples of the formulas you would like to use and have the baby try them and see which one works best...

My son spit up hardcore similac advance...we never tried soy but used enfamil gentlease. If she didnt spit it up its possible shes tolerating it better. Similac advance has a lot more stuff added to it then others hence teh Advance part and I nkow alot of babies that dont seem to tolerate it well.

well i know that w/ my 1st daughter she would spit up alot so i gave her enfamil a.r. worked great.us my son who is now 8mons. would vomit every kind of formula there is but i just at the end of trying stuck with the enfamil ar and he doesnt spit up or anything now.

i dont like similac so i would say since ur breastfeeding mostly try the enfamil ar or i think its gentalease that would work best. but every baby is different

most likely she is tolerating it better; enfamil AR has added rice starch to make it thicker and to stay down better for babies with reflux ; we had to use it for months with our dd...
