Web cam video quality?
How can I improve the video quality of my web cam? I have a couple with various megapixles, but they all look like crap.

You can have the best webcam, but if you do not have a lot of video memory in your computer, you'll not get a really good quality image.
Of course, you need to check the settings in webcam properties. Sometimes you get better results with everything on auto default settings. Sometimes manual adjustments of white balance, brightnes, etc. will help.
And the last thing. A lot of people do not realize that to have an image you need light. If you are using a webcam under very low light conditions, forget about good quality.

i'd do a device restoration. needless to say, you got greater beneficial than you bargained for once you downloaded that different application, the two it, or you replaced some settings in the process the time you have been working it. A clean initiate would desire to help, even nonetheless some would evaluate it an intensive answer. a lot of those supposedly loose trial downloads are not properly well worth the time you waste correcting issues they'd reason.

TRy looking in Control Panel for an icon labeled VP6 or VP7 and play with the quality controls.

You didn't mention what web cam it was and if its a cheap one then you cant make the quality better. sorry
