I have a 1990 chevy full size blazer with a tbi 350.?

The truck stalls out @ 1800 rpms and above. What could be wrong? engine idles fine but @ 1800 rpms it shuts off and then starts right back up. Fuel cycles normally it doesnt throw any codes either. Good coil, cap, rotor and wires and pickup coil. when it !st started happening it killed my msd ignition box and the trk wouldn't start @ all so i had to change the setup back to stock and it started but like i said idles beautifully then you rev it up to 1800 or past and it dies any ideas??????

Update:

The coil was in fact changed 2 msd as well bought the whole setup wires good plugs distributor cap coil n ignition box.

hmm, i'm unsure what you mean by 'fuel cycles normally' because the fuel obviously doesn't cycle at all, it just goes in, anyways just cause it gets fuel doesn't mean there isn't a problem with fuel pressure, could be the fuel pump or fuel filter, msd ignition, nice, but more likely the coil, i notice that you say the coil is good but i'm guessing you didn't up grade the coil with the msd, so i'd say the coil is faulty due to the draw from the msd, when you put the stock setup back the coil was damaged and can't handle the influx of draw when at higher revs, if all else fails, i would then suggest to pickup a second hand computer for it...

    Worn out fuel pump.

Have the pressure tested at the fuel filter (Under the drivers seat inside the frame rail). It should be 13-17 psi. for TBI.

    Change your fuel filter too.

it sounds more like fuel then electrical. did you put a pressure gage on the fuel rail to check the pressure and volume? also change the gas filter before checking the fuel pump. there is a schrader valve on the fuel rail to where you hook up the fuel pump gage.
