every time i open internet explorer it opens page after page what would cause this?

Sounds like you have adware. Download Adaware and run it. Also, I would recommend you switch browsers. IE is the most vulnerable one to infections. Try Google Chrome or Apple Safari (both free). I prefer Chrome. Not only are they much faster, they're more secure and you shouldn't run into near as many problems. Good luck!

go through your computer and delete any downloads you do not need. Just get rid of everything you need. Make sure to read all computer pop ups about your computer. don't just click through all of them. You can also call the people who made your computer and ask them what to do.

My laptop does this sometimes, it's just a dodgy malfunctioning for me, BUT it may be a virus or something for you.

Run a thorough virus scan :)

I have had the problem before and it turned out to be some sort of spyware.
