First of all, you can't base on the wrecks last night to determine the 600. The race was much shorter and therefore drivers are more aggressive. Also there is no points involved, so it's all or nothing. By the way they looked in the All Star race, I think the following drivers have a chance at winning the Coke 600.
Tony Stewart
Matt Kenseth
Jimmie Johnson
Jeff Gordon
Mark Martin
Kyle Busch
Kurt Busch
Denny Hamlin
Edit: Sorry AJW. I put my answer before I read any others. I didn't mean to copy you if it sounds like I did.

I think Tony Stewart is definitely a favorite headed into the 600. The driver that won the All-Star race has gone on to win the Coca-Cola 600 six times. Plus, he has been a threat to win almost every race lately. Kurt Busch had a solid race last night and won at Atlanta, which is similar to Charlotte so he should be running up at the front too. Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson will be major threats too.
Also, I wouldn't count out any of those drivers you have listed, especially Jeff Gordon.

Just because they didn't make it to the end of the All-Star race doesn't mean you should count them out of the 600. These guys race differently when $1,000,000 are on the line. Most of the guys you put in the Count Them Out category are actually strong contenders for the 600, because they drive patiently and know when to charge and when to hold back. I actually think every driver you mentioned has a shot to win the 600, except Junior. Sorry, Junior Nation, but they just don't have it together. I will be pleasantly surprised if I'm proven wrong, but I just don't think that they're on the same page yet.
TraV, no worries. A lot of NASCAR fans who have been watching for years know you can't judge one race by a completely different race.

You are throwing out other possible good finishers from Reutimann to Ragan, to Ryan Newman. He's my bet to win the 600. I also like The busches and Hamlin, again. This is going to be an endurance race, and Guys like Jimmie and Kasey are good at those. Don't count out Gordon, Biffle, and Burton just because they wrecked in the all star race. Everyone drives 110% in the all star race, but the 600 is and endurance race.

Based on the All-Star Results, Martin Truex Jr. has a shot at winning the 600?

That could be a pretty big list. See there was one important thing that I heard some teams mention last night that they didn't have time to correct while they were racing last night. Several teams realized that the changes they needed to make to some of the cars were in the front end of the car. Those were major changes that could not be made under normal conditions.
Although they had bad runs last night you can look for them to have some better runs in the 600 next week. They'll make those changes to the front chassis and the camber and caster and you'll see a lot more cars competing for the win.
Add Dale, Kurt Busch, Kasey Kahne, all of RCR cars, and the EGR cars to the ones that ran well last night. I'm sure I left out a few. Look for "Sideways Sam" to get his car straight.

It's Jimmie's race to lose..
I think the guy that said Tony, could be on to something..
I don't think anyone can beat Jimmie at that track, on any given lap.. Jimmie was the fastest in practice, by far, and during the race.. He just wasn't in a position to win, when the time came.. You need to watch lap times..
The highest finishing Gibbs car will be Joey Lagono..

First of all, you shouldn't take all-star results as a preview of what is to come at da 600. Many teams were running experimental setups. I think all the Hendrick cars really have a shot to win.

I think as usual the ones to count out will either run in the back(junior) or will run in the front for a while till some accident or penalty takes them out and they usually can't recover. The ones in the middle then will probally run in the front with the favorites for tthe rest of the time with some other random drivers till the end, their the ones who seem to be able to avoid crashes and overcome penalties most of the time. I think the winner will be between kyle and kurt, johnson, carl, and martin. Kenseth seems to always come out of nowhere to win and in my opinion he's not that great of a driver. I like hamlin but i dont think he can do it, i think the one big crash last year shook him up quite a bit and its gonna be a while till he can really get in their and race, he's gotten better but he needs time, i think edwards might have a little bit of this problem but i don't think as much as hamlin.

As much as they say during the broadcast that the all star race preps for the 600, it really doesn't predict anything. They will all bring different cars this weekend.
