I am so disagree with too many bad commentaries about Phelps?

Swimming is one of thehardest sports u use more muscles swimming than anyother sport. and why they r jumping down phelps throat is unbelievable to me it is not like he used a performance hancing drug and they need to just get over it. PHELPS ROX!!!!

If swimming isn't a sport then how come it's in the Olympics. The recognized sports are all part of the Olympics and Swimming is the best sports to tone and grow muscles. I should know, I'm a competitive swimmer.

Just tell the swimming 'dissers' that swimming works every muscle in the body. It is also the number one recommended sport for seniors because it gets them to workout without hurting their joints.

It's important to believe in what you think is right. Of course, swimming is a sport. The best, in fact. The fools who think it isn't a sport will never succeed in life. Frankly, they don't even know what swimming is. Phelps is a beastly god but some people look down on him for his drug use, which is completely unfair because he's a kid, deserves some slack, and a good person who is human and makes mistakes but is even better because he has promised to learn from his mistakes.

Dont believe what anybody tells you swimming is a sport, it is the toughest sport anybody can do cause it works out every muscle in your body. And the practices are very very hard trust me I'm a swimmer and it is not easy. People just say its not a sport cause they cant do it, dont listen to them and yes Phelps is the best. [=

You are right. Swimming is not only a sport; but a very difficult one as Natalie said it utilizes muscles that a person doesn't normally use.

I wouldn't be surprised if those people who said swimming is not a sport can't swim themselves.

The boy is part fish.

He's incredible and a credit to the sport.

He's accomplished what most people only dream of.

Why would his personal life have the least bit of an impact on that.

b/c people think when they see swimming on TV, they think its easy, call swimmers wimpy, get their fuc*ing a$$ whooped, and go back to "manly" sports. & yes Phelps is the best.
