Was Newton wrong about gravity?
Newton's law of gravity states that objects are attracted to each other in direct proportion to their mass and indirect proportion to the square of the distance.
Then why are the ladies not attracted to me the more massive I get.
(It does not matter how close I get, in fact, sometimes when getting close, for purely scientific reasons, pepper spray has been known to be used.)
Seriously, why are all the answers getting thumbs down?
This was an attempt at humor on my part, there are no wrong answers, or even wrong opinions (unless they get insulting, and I think I have already insulted myself), so what is the deal with the thumbs down on all the answers?
Before I pick best answer, I will make sure all answers get a thumbs up. . .

Well, I must say, even though it is true. That they should feel more attracted to you. Even when you actually do the calculation, its gonna come out to a really, really small number. Making it insignificant.
Try it out. Lets say you weigh 50 kg and the girl weighs 30 kg and your .01m away. If you plug and chug it will give you 1.00095E-5N
Which is a really really small force.
That is why it does not work like that. Hilarious though, hahaha.

The "objects" Newton here meant was the earth and the substance upon earth. You will not be attracted to ladied even if get mountain sized.

there has to be some sense of magnetics in the object, inaniment objects cannot be attracted to each other with some form of magnetism.
can I grab your love handles?????

hahaha.
Its actually proportional to the INVERSE square of the distance. That explains your reason.
