  • Who else is going to have their telescope out tonight?

Tonight the full moon will occult Antares and it should be worth watching.

While the moon occults stars all the time, this will be a full moon and a very bright star. Usually when the moon is full, its glare will wipe out all nearby stars, but tonight will be an exception. . .

  • A bit of humor here, was Newton wrong about gravity?

Newton's law of gravity states that objects are attracted to each other in direct proportion to their mass and indirect proportion to the square of the distance.

Then why are the ladies not attracted to me the more massive I get.

(It does not matter how close I get, in fact, sometimes when getting close, for purely scientific reasons, pepper spray has been known to be used.)

  • Do you ever feel guilty?

When you go to some other section of Answers like Science and Mathematics and find some answers so seeped in ignorance that you all but call the people who answer them morons.

I can understand wrong answers in areas where you are expressing an opinion, or if there are several possible correct answers, but when you go the the Mathematics section and you see answers that get volume and area confused, do you wonder what is becoming of today's educational system and why some people even try to answer at all.

Then, later you feel guilty about being rather harsh when, in your answer, you sort of call them stupid for theirs.

  • I am not waiting for Cho Sueng-Hui, or his twin to go away this time?

Last time I waited till they were gone before posting a "question" similer to this. This time I will not follow my own advice and let them see that I am talking about them also.

So, this bag of excrement is back, and once gain has goaded people into actually paying attention to his drivel.

I will try again, if you ignore these people, they will disappear. They are tiny little people with small egos that need to be feed constantly. They need attention, and they come here to get it by getting others angry at them, they show that they can affect people.

Ignore him and his ilk and he will stop coming here!

Keep answering him, or replying to his answers, no matter how disgusting they are, will just feed his little ego and make him create a new account and come back for more. You are not insulting him, you are feeding him!

  • Difference between mom and dads?

This has been around before - but well worth the read - for all you moms and those who have wives...

Mom and Dad were watching TV when Mom said, "I'm tired, and it's getting late. I think I'll go to bed."

She went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next day's lunches.

Rinsed out the popcorn bowls, took meat out of the freezer for supper the following evening, checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugar container, put spoons and bowls on the table and prepared the coffee pot for brewing the next morning.

She then put some wet clothes in the dryer, put a load of clothes into the washer, ironed a shirt and secured a loose button. She picked up the game pieces left on the table, put the phone back on the charger and put the telephone book into the drawer.

  • How easy was it to wait until Cho Seung-hui was gone?

He has answered his 20 questions and now he is gone, but a lot of people (including me now) gave him the attention he craves.

He has a small hungry ego that can only be feed by causing disruption and watching others react, and, other did react.

If you just ignore these twits, they will soon grow bored and try to find a new game to play, but as long as everyone continues to play his game by showing disgust, anger, or hatred toward this anonoymus person, he will continue to come back with different identies every day.

There has to be a solution, but publicly showing outrage is not it, that is just feeding him and making him look big in his eyes.

Ignore him and people like him and they will go away, keep feeding their hungry little egos and they will persist.

Remember, you are better than they are, so do not stoop to their level.

  • Why doesn't Yahoo?

Have a simple Hi, or Hello in the comments on your 360 page?

They have Smile, Flirt, Hug, Best 360 ever and others, but no simple hello.

(I would say serious answers only, but if I wanted that i would go to a different category, however serious answers are welcome.)

  • Why do we do it?

Why do we give stars to people whose question is give me a star.

Why do we even bother answering questions like "Can I get 100 answers?"

    I will never understand it. . .
