Is Bioshock scarier than Fallout 3?
I've played Bioshock and loved it. I was okay with the blood and everything. Scariest moment is probably the moving plaster people level. My question is: is Fallout 3 scarier than Bioshock?

Fallout is like The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. It's a game where you wander around, engage in quests and (IMO) have a blast. Just replace the swords with guns and add in more profanity. There is NOTHING scary about the game whatsoever, except occasional encounters with Feral Ghouls and the knowledge that "oh, I am so underleveled and I'm going to die" or "aw man, I have no ammo".
Bioshock obliterates (as another answerer said) Fallout. Obliterates it out of the water. It's not in your face scary, but has a creepy vibe throughout, especially when you hear Splicers talking down a hallway and you know they're waiting for you.
...unfortunately the ending of both games are a letdown, but BOTH are absolute must purchases, especially if you own a 360, since Fallout 3 DLC is available only on there.
When it comes to Bioshock DLC, the PS3 offers "challenge rooms" and the 360 offers you two tonics for only 1 point each - one useful, the other...you decide.
I'd just buy both, Bioshock is now a "greatest hits" title and Fallout 3 is probably 40 bucks used.

1. MGS4 is a sneaking/3rd person shooter, with great graphics and a wide variety of weapons/clothes/enemies. Each level has different paths to take to complete the level. I highly recommend this game, even if you havent played the older ones. 2. Bioshock is a first-person, alternate reality shooter. The main character is in a plane crash over the ocean and finds a way into an underwater "utopia". The game has your average collection of weapons, and enemies. The game can be a little bit frightening, but is relativity doable. I wasnt really a fan of this game. 3. Fallout 3 is my personal favorite of all 3. The game is a 1st/3rd person shooter/RPG depending on your preference. The game has a huge assortment of weapons to kill off your enemies. The game has a "karma system", which allows your character to be good, neutral, or evil. Your karma level depends on how people will react with you in the game. The game has about 30 main story quests, and roughly 100 unmarked quests. The game also has 5 downloadable add-ons. Each add-on is worth roughly 5 hours of gameplay and plenty of quests, weapons, and armor. This game is one of my favorite of the year with out a doubt. Even though Fallout 3 is my favorite, you shouldn't get it until the game of the year edition comes out. It will cost $60, but you will get all the DLC with the game. For now, buy MGS4 because it is a solid game. You could also buy the $30 Bioshock/Oblivion game if you really want to, but I wasnt too much of a fan.

Fallout 3 isn't scary in the slightest.
But bioshock is just down right creepy. Just the feel of the game is scary!

No, Bioshock is much scarier. Like another user said, perhaps the only fright you'll get from Fallout 3 isn't so much a fright, but more nervousness at how well you will fare in the event of an ambush (due to lack of ammo, low on health, etc.).

No. Bioshock destroys Fallout in the scary department.

Fallout 3 is not scary. The biggest scare you may get is a jump when a ghoul jumps you that you didn't hear coming.

I don't see how either of those games could be considered scary for a teen/adult.
Sure small children might get scared, but they shouldn't be playing those kind of games anyways...

Yep, they both lose their scariness when you get used to it though.
Plus in Fallout you can use VATS for slow motion.
