short frequent calls vs. long not-so-frequent calls?

Question

My bf said that he wants to make short frequent calls to me rather than long infrequent calls because he said he wanted to hear my voice everyday. He said he'd call everyday for 10 minutes but I told him it's not enough & he said it would be everyday. If I choose long infrequent calls he'll probably call 2times a week at most. 

We're in a long distance relationship and I understand it's really expensive to make long-distance calls everyday.
Which do you think is better??

Personally, I prefer to talk at lengths with people I'm interested in, so I'd gladly opt for a day or two when we can just talk & talk rather than being left feeling unsatisfied after a quick convo every day.

Keep in mind the old saying, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."  --and that it's true for both involved, too. ;)

wow...i did long distance for 6 months...and we taled EVERYDAY ALLLL DAY...but were different then everyone else.

no matter what we found ways to call each other for at least 4 hours ...

i thin you should go half and half for a calling card so that way he has no excuse not to call

Short frequent calls, at least you know he's thinkink of you everyday.
