Pittsburgh Steelers!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
How long will it take for someone to catch the Steelers for the most super bowls??
Palindrome, I know there was NFL championships. That's not what I asked. Thats why I said Super Bowls and not championships. Try reading the question more clearly again and if you have to take it slow and sound out each word. If you don't know what a word means just look it up on Websters online.

Of the two teams close to catching the Steelers ( San Fran and Dallas) Dallas is probably the most logical. Although it will never happen.

Interesting question. You really have to look at the teams that are close numbers wise. Really, throw out any team with less than 3. Sure, the Dolphins have a couple, but I highly doubt they are going to make a run and win 4 before the Steelers ever see another.
So, start out with the teams that have three, and the largest of those looming in the back is the Patriots. With Brady and the Hood, you know they will always have a consistent chance to win. However, I think the window on the Pats maybe closing. A really bad knee injury like Brady's takes TWO years to heal, plain and simple. Pats fans need to remember that, and remember that it is possible that New England Misses the playoffs again this year. (Basically, how much faith do you have in Matt Gutierriez?)
The Skins are a solid team, but thats just it; solid, not champions. Too many questions at QB, and Daniel Snyder is going out and just trying to purchase team chemistry. Lack of consistent coaching and defense are ultimately going to hurt this team.
The Raiders are a mess, and until Al Davis is gone, they pose no threat.
Who knows what the Packers are doing? They are a pretty schizo team all things being considered, and Brett Favre and the stability he brought to that organization is gone.
Really, the Giants have the best of the 3 win teams. Young, proven, (kinda) QB, strong D, good ownership, good coach. Now, the question becomes, can they do it consistently? They have to win three before the Steelers can get another.
Now, on to the 5 win teams, as there are no teams with just 4.
In terms of the Niners, see their cross bay rivals above. Although, if they get a solid QB, watch out, they will light things up.
And finally Dallas. Jerry Jones is quickly slipping into Al Davis-esque control of the Cowboys. Pac-Man was a cancer, and a headache, but Jones couldn't stay away from his measureables. The same with TO, and what Jerry Jones wants, he gets. But really, Tony Romo is unproven to the extreme, the D is solid, but not great, and, like Al Davis, Jones is taking waaaaay to many chances on guys with great numbers, but terrible character.
So, really, I would give it a 15-1 chance that some team catches the Steelers before they win another Super Bowl. The Steelers are solid organization from top to bottom. They draft well every year, the Rooneys' have their heads on straight, and Mike Tomlin has silenced all the critics.

Dallas is threatening. 49ers have a way to go still. Both of those teams have 5 Superbowls. There are a few teams with 3 rings, none of which really look very poised to make a run for another three.
The Patriots could end up with 4 or maybe 5 by the time it's all said and done, but their time is starting to run short.
The Giants aren't looking like they can do it, they still need 3 more...
Packers and Raiders don't have a shot anytime soon....

the steelers are not going to get beat. a year and a half ago i might have said look out for the cowboys but i cant honestly say that anymore. within 3-4 years i could see mike singletary turning the 49ers into contenders again but by then the big ben and the steelers D will have won another ring. im not a steelers fan, im in fact a packers fan but every time i think about the steelers i think, "man, what a organization."
PS nice icon from the best movie ever

The Packers still have 12 NFL championships. There was an NFL long before the Super Bowl, you know ...

I believe the Steelers will win another before either Dallas or SF does.
It may take 4 or 5 seasons for one of these to catch up.

a while....the steelers are very young at key positions...they are set to make a run for the next 5 years still....they might be filling up both hands with rings very soon
