What is achievement trading on xbox 360?
I am still new to Xbox (1+ month) and I am curious to know what is achievement trading? Can you actually trade them or is it a term used for getting together to play with friends with the intention of playing just to gain specific achievements? Asking mainly because my friend was playing Left 4 Dead originally on her husband's gamertag and now she has her own. She would like to add the achievements she gained on his to hers.
Thanks

Trading Achievements is just You and a friend working together for an achievement. Thats the simplest explanation. You cannot exchange achievements from account to account

There is no way to possibly "trade" achievements between two accounts.
What you probably mean is that you contact friends so that you can all play together just to get the achievements.

There is no such thing as "achievement trading." You cant switch achievements over to anyother gamertag. You can change the gamertag name of a gamertag and keep the achiements intact, and you can even recover your gamertag onto someone elses hard drive/xbox and it keeps your achievements intact but there is no achievement trading

I don't think you can trade achievements, I think it more like working together to gain them.

achievement trading is illegal it is where someone sells a save file that has all of the achievements for a game completed and once you load it you get all of the achievements. once you do it Microsoft permanently sets your gamerscore to zero
