Does sitting on a fitness ball at a desk all day provide major health advantages?

I sit at my desk at work for roughly 3 hours a day. I'm male, in good shape, but I want to know if sitting on one of those ab balls will give me any real benefits.

    just sitting on the ball wont give you any advantages but if you secure it by putting a large object(a chair maybe) behind itand try a few moves on it(listed in the manual)

    it will not give u HUGE benefits but its good for ur body and u may even see some differences. id say go for it but dont expect to see a major difference

    I mean.. i would think it would help improve your balance and maybe posture since you have no real support, its all your strength..
