Stats help please! Leah is flying from Boston to Denver with a connection in Chicago.?

The book says the answer is 0.975. Please show me how to arrive at that answer.

Update:

The probability her first flight leaves on time is 0.15. If the flight is on time, the probability that her luggage will make the connecting flight in Chicago is 0.95, but if the first flight is delayed, the probability that the luggage will make it is only 0.65.

Suppose you pick her up at the Denver airport and her luggage is not there. What is the probability that Leah's first flight was delayed?

The probability of no luggage if her flight is on time is (0.15)(0.05).

    (0.05 comes from 1 - 0.95)

The probability of no luggage if her flight is not on time is (0.85)(0.35).

So the probability of her flight not on time given that she has no luggage = (0.85)(0.35) / [(0.85)(0.35) + (0.15)(0.05)] = 0.975
